Meet Catie Marolt: Release Train Engineer and Agile Coach at Bank of America

Since starting her first web company 14 years ago—an act which sparked her technical curiosity and drive for innovation— recent Quantic graduate, Catie Marolt, has worked in all areas of the technology industry. This diverse technological background, spanning from startups to Fortune 100 organizations, gave her the understanding and experience to “bridge the gap between business challenges and technology solutions.” As technology continues to change and progress, she is eager to apply new knowledge to help organizations overcome these challenges.

What motivated you to pursue an MBA?

I am a lifelong learner and have a passion for personal development. As an aspiring entrepreneur, I wanted to round out my corporate knowledge with the fundamental education needed to run a successful business. I was interested in meeting people around the world to share ideas and collaborate in the creative process.

Why did you select Quantic?

I loved Quantic’s technology-first approach and its modern, unique pedagogy. The blend of self paced yet structured learning was a perfect fit for my learning style. I wanted to be part of a diverse global alumni community and appreciated that the course content was focused on both organizational application and entrepreneurship.

How would you describe your experience with Quantic?

My Quantic experience was amazing! I loved that I could learn anywhere, any way, despite my busy schedule. I have made so many wonderful friendships and colleagues and networked with people all over the world. I loved participating in an organization focused on innovation with a mission of expanding global access to education.

As you consider your Quantic learning experience, what’s been most impactful, most beneficial to you, most valuable to you?

The most valuable parts of my Quantic learning experience are the lifetime access to course content and the lifelong friendships that I have made across the world.

How did you get to where you are today? What’s your background?

I have spent the past 14 years working in all facets of technology, from startups to Fortune 100 companies. My passion is coaching and leading agile and digital transformations of all sizes. I love to travel and have scuba dived all over the world.

What most interests you about being a Quantic Advocate?

I am most interested in educating others about the unique opportunities that the Quantic MBA program offers, and expanding the company’s mission to increase global access to higher education.
