Before joining Quantic, Angela was an Associate Professor of Marketing and Business programs at Texas A&M University for 11 years. Prior to academia, she was the Public Relations Coordinator for the USDA and Marketing Director for the USOs in Asia Pacific. She spent a year deployed to Iraq establishing the first USO center in an active war zone, which sparked her research interests in cultural appreciation and understanding through travel and international partnerships. Angela earned her PhD in Tourism Marketing from Texas A&M University and MS in Advertising from the University of TN.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

To allow time to give 100% to the most important priorities in our life and careers, a former mentor reminded us that it’s ok to say no to taking on more tasks and responsibilities when we need to. We need to say yes to opportunities that bring us closer to a life-work balance.

If you could have only one superpower, what would it be and why?

Being able to communicate with my dogs to understand their stories and wellness needs. Working with rescues and never saying no to helping a lost dog, I would love to know the dog’s past stories and how best to help them have a “furtastic” future.

Prior to joining Quantic, Eleonora worked in higher education for over 18 years. She has extensive experience in the fields of retail, manufacturing, leasing, banking, tax, and auditing. She is a licensed CPA in the State of New Jersey and has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting and finance. She earned her Doctorate in Business Administration from Temple University’s Fox School of Business.

What is the best advice you have ever received?"

Acquire a good education, it is the one thing that no one can ever take away from you.

If you could have only one superpower, what would it be and why?

To blink myself in an instant anywhere in the world, so I can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner wherever I choose, especially gelato in Rome at least twice a day.

Prior to joining Quantic, Dr. Harsh worked globally for over 20+ years as a professor in business & entrepreneurship at SUNY, University of Alabama, IIT Delhi and MDI, and published in leading research journals in the area of innovation and strategy. He had founded and led iSEED that conducted programs for entrepreneurs and mentored early-stage startups. He earned his Doctorate in Business Administration from Temple University’s Fox School of Business.

If you could have only one superpower, what would it be and why?

Ability to gauge anyone’s suffering and roll out a perfect solution for it with the snap of my fingers.

If you could time travel to a specific time and place in the universe, where and when would you go and why?

A flight into space that would extend my lifespan, bringing me back to the planet Earth 200 years into the future, where people are rejoicing the most evolved human bonds and purpose feasting over their choicest moments.

Prior to Quantic, Maggie was a professor of Managerial Economics at JWMI, CSUMB, and the College of William and Mary. She has experience creating and teaching courses in economics, statistics, and information management. She loves new ideas and was the founder of two small businesses in the areas of assisted living and graduate online business education. She earned a PhD in Economics and a MS in Information Management from Arizona State University.

If you could have only one superpower, what would it be and why?

I would love to travel to the future and see how future generations live. It is amazing how much has changed just in the past 100 years.

If you could snap your fingers and become an expert at something, what would it be?

I would love to be an expert dancer.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Less is more! Life is short and efficiency is important!

Michael joined Quantic as an Accounting Subject Matter Expert after working as the president of the American Accounting Academy. He holds a doctorate in Business Administration (Accounting) from Liberty University. His master’s degree is in Accounting and Financial Management with a CPA emphasis. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting). He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Accounting for sixteen years.

If you could have only one superpower, what would it be and why?

Each one of us already has a superpower, which is that we can build our desired future the way we want through believing it, feeling it, and working.

Which three people (from the past or present) would you choose to have dinner with?

I would definitely choose my wife and my two kids. Same choice for breakfast and lunch. I always tell my family that I am grateful for having them.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Life is happening now.

Natalie joined Quantic as an Academic Program Director of Business after working as an assistant professor in Management and Entrepreneurship at Manchester Metropolitan University. She received her doctorate in entrepreneurship from the same university, and her M.A. in Economics and Politics from the University of Glasgow. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an Academic Fellow of the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs.

If you could have only one superpower, what would it be and why?

I’d absolutely choose to be invisible. The places you could go!

If you could snap your fingers and become an expert at something, what would it be?

I’d be a linguistic expert! Using my skills of invisibility, I’d hitch-hike across the world on private jets (this is in a post-Covid world of course), and then I would converse with the locals in every language imaginable.

Sara joined Quantic as a Leadership and Entrepreneurship Subject Matter Expert. Prior to Quantic, Sara taught Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and International Business to undergrad, postgrad, and MBA students in universities & colleges across the UK, Middle East, and US. She earned her Ph.D. in 2018 from Royal at University of London and her MSc in Management from Birkbeck College University of London. Sara’s work focuses on women’s entrepreneurship and women in leadership positions. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an I-Corps instructor. She has acted as a judge for entrepreneurial competitions and worked closely with founders and business owners from all around the world.

What three things would you want to have if deserted on an island?

My laptop (to write), a book, and a peace of mind.

If you could have only one superpower, what would it be and why?

To fly high in order to see the world through a different lens.
