Meet Our Academic Team!

Darshan serves as an Academic lead for executive education programs in the area of data science and analytics. She brings to Quantic a wealth of experience in academia, industry consulting, and technology. She has taught in the applied analytics program at Columbia University. She was a founding chair of the Business Data Science Department at Berkeley College, directing an undergrad degree program, with concentrations in Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics. She holds a Ph.D from Nirma University of Science and Technology, India, and an executive certificate in Business Analytics from Wharton, UPenn. And, she earned an MBA from Gujarat University, India.

If you could have only one superpower, what would it be and why?

Power to instill inspiration and drive precisely when it's most needed. To be the spark that ignites the drive and will to harness our own innate super powers and amplifies positivity.

What's one of your strangest talents?

I have taken the tradition and the art of Indian head massages to the next level, some say I do “magic”!

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Practice gratitude. Live light and free. Serve with passion.

Prior to joining Quantic, Eleonora worked in higher education for over 18 years. She has extensive experience in the fields of retail, manufacturing, leasing, banking, tax, and auditing. She is a licensed CPA in the State of New Jersey and has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting and finance. She earned her Doctorate in Business Administration from Temple University’s Fox School of Business.

What is the best advice you have ever received?"

Acquire a good education, it is the one thing that no one can ever take away from you.

If you could have only one superpower, what would it be and why?

To blink myself in an instant anywhere in the world, so I can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner wherever I choose, especially gelato in Rome at least twice a day.

Prior to Quantic, Maggie was a professor of Managerial Economics at JWMI, CSUMB, and the College of William and Mary. She has experience creating and teaching courses in economics, statistics, and information management. She loves new ideas and was the founder of two small businesses in the areas of assisted living and graduate online business education. She earned a PhD in Economics and a MS in Information Management from Arizona State University.

If you could have only one superpower, what would it be and why?

I would love to travel to the future and see how future generations live. It is amazing how much has changed just in the past 100 years.

If you could snap your fingers and become an expert at something, what would it be?

I would love to be an expert dancer.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Less is more! Life is short and efficiency is important!

Natalie joined Quantic as an Academic Program Director of Business after working as an assistant professor in Management and Entrepreneurship at Manchester Metropolitan University. She received her doctorate in entrepreneurship from the same university, and her M.A. in Economics and Politics from the University of Glasgow. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an Academic Fellow of the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs.

If you could have only one superpower, what would it be and why?

I’d absolutely choose to be invisible. The places you could go!

If you could snap your fingers and become an expert at something, what would it be?

I’d be a linguistic expert! Using my skills of invisibility, I’d hitch-hike across the world on private jets (this is in a post-Covid world of course), and then I would converse with the locals in every language imaginable.

Robert holds a PhD in Computer Science, in the sub-field of Artificial Intelligence, from Flinders University and a BS Honors in Computer Science from The University of Adelaide. Robert serves as an Academic Lead for Quantic’s Artificial Intelligence and Technology programs. Prior to joining Quantic, Robert has over 10 years of academic departmental leadership experience in Computer Science and Software Engineering departments, and over 20 years of lecturing experience including at MS and PhD levels. This has included serving as a Chair of Discipline in a globally top 40-ranked research university.

If you could have only one superpower, what would it be and why?

An ability to predict the future and influence it for the better when needed.

What is the best advice you have ever received?

Several things: be optimistic, continually be open to learn new things and the devil is in the details.

Sara joined Quantic as a Leadership and Entrepreneurship Subject Matter Expert. Prior to Quantic, Sara taught Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and International Business to undergrad, postgrad, and MBA students in universities & colleges across the UK, Middle East, and US. She earned her Ph.D. in 2018 from Royal at University of London and her MSc in Management from Birkbeck College University of London. Sara’s work focuses on women’s entrepreneurship and women in leadership positions. She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an I-Corps instructor. She has acted as a judge for entrepreneurial competitions and worked closely with founders and business owners from all around the world.

What three things would you want to have if deserted on an island?

My laptop (to write), a book, and a peace of mind.

If you could have only one superpower, what would it be and why?

To fly high in order to see the world through a different lens.

Prior to joining Quantic, Dr. Sundar was a Finance Director for a publicly traded tech company and responsible for the financial management of its largest business unit. He has extensive corporate strategic and operational finance experience. He has also taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Economics and Finance. He holds multiple degrees from the University of New Orleans, including a Ph.D. in Financial Economics. He has several refereed journal publications in the areas of International Finance, Investments, and Economic Development.

What’s one unique, exciting thing in your life that people may not know about?

I once shook hands with President Carter while working in the French Quarter in New Orleans!

What’s one skill you possess that people don’t know about?

I taught myself how to read palms. I find it to be a great social lubricant!

"Don’t sweat the small stuff." It’s more relevant now than ever!
